McDonough Road Baptist sets Homecoming for Aug. 11,12 McDonough Road Baptist Church, (formerly College Park Second Baptist) will have its Homecoming celebration Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 11 and 12, beginning with an open house at 4 p.m. Saturday. Memorabilia and pictures of the church at both locations will be on display. At 5:30 p.m., following the open house, members and friends will have a covered dish dinner. The church will provide meat, bread and drinks. Worship service is planned for 6:45 p.m. Sunday events, Sunday school and worship, will follow the regular schedule.
