You'll scream for free ice cream

Sundaes in the Shade, an old-fashioned ice cream social, will be hosted by the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City Sunday, Aug. 5 from 4 - 6 p.m. at 206 Willowbend Road.

A live band will play music for all ages, and there will be large inflated toys and free make-your-own ice cream sundaes. All you have to bring is family, friends and a lawn chair or blanket.

Church members will gather in the city park next to the church's lower parking lot. Everyone is welcome. No reservations required.
