Former carpet showroom on auction block tomorrow

Fayette investors wanting to get a potential deal on a new office site should head toward Ga. Highway 314 tomorrow.

Bob Tucker and Associates is auctioning off an 8,250-sq. ft. office at 11 a.m.

The property used to house a carpet showroom and is in good condition, according to documents from Tucker's office

The property has office areas of 1,544 square feet and retail, showroom, storage and mechanical area of 6,706 square feet.

The building is on .83 acre and is in the city of Fayetteville across from Fayette Pavilion shopping center.

The property is in a C-2 (commercial) zoning district and has been used as a retail/office/professional/warehouse building. The building is a one-story brick and masonry with 21-foot ceilings. It's 100 percent heated and air conditioned and was constructed in 1999.
