Selfish reasons can't justify abortion

I can't help but feel sorry for people like Suzanne Sports [Letters, The Citizen, July 11] who have no regard for human life and are willing to kill their babies for purely selfish reasons.

Those who know how to get pregnant also know how not to get pregnant. There is absolutely no reason why poor innocent children should be killed outright for selfish motives of parents.

I join [Father David] Epps and others in praying for these innocent babies. I also pray that this injustice and violation of human rights will be corrected.
