Big League baseball tournament in PTC The Peachtree City Baseball and Soccer Complex on Ga. Hwy 74 South wil be the site for this weekend's State Big League Baseball Tournament. The Big League tournament is for 16-18 year olds and is a division of the Little League program. Games on Friday and Saturday, July 13 and 14 will be at 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday's game will be at 2 p.m. The Championship game is scheduled for Monday evening, July 16, at 7 p.m. Teams will be coming from all around the state to aprticipate. The host team from the Senoia, tyrone and Peachtree City area will play the opening game at 5 p.m. on Friday. In addition to the tournament, peachtree City little League and Brooks little League will be holding joint registration for fall baseball at the Baseball and Soccer Complex July 13 from 5-8 p.m. and again on July 14 from 4-8 p.m. Registration will be taken for all players ages 5-16 (ages July 31, 2002). All players in Fayette County are welcome and will be registered in one of the two leagues. practices arescheduled to begin August 18. games will begin September 10 and run through October 27.
