PTC and Brooks team up for fall ball registration
PTC and Brooks team up for fall baseball registrationFall baseball is right around the corner and Peachtree City Little League and Brooks Little League will have joint registrations at the Baseball and Soccer Complex on Ga. Highway 74 south in Peachtree City July 13 from 5-8 p.m. and July 14 from 4-8 p.m. Players will be registered in one of the two leagues. Practices are scheduled to begin Aug. 18. Games will begin Sept. 10 and run through Oct. 27. Tee ball will be offered this year in the fall program for ages 5-7. Other programs offered will be Junior Minors, a player pitch program for 7- and 8-year-olds; Minor League for 9-10; Major League for 11 and 12; Junior League for 13-14 and Senior League for 14-16. All ages are based on the player's age as of July 31, 2002. An added attraction at the July registrations will be the state Big League tournament. Big League is a Little League program for 16- to 18-year-olds. Games Friday and Saturday will be at 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday's games will be at 2 and 5 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. Phone Allen Smith at 678-522-3523.
