Newnan's Elder to fight at Six Flags on Tuesday

Six Flags Over Georgia will be filled with more excitement than usual when it hosts ESPN2's Tuesday night fights next week.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature six matches before the main event, which will have Newnan's Ebo "The Xtreme Machine" Elder take on Emmanuel Clottey from Ghana.

Elder enters the match undefeated with a 13-0 record. Ten of his victories have come from knockouts. His opponent enters the match with an 18-3 record and 12 knockouts.

Other matches on Tuesday include Atlanta's O'Neil Bell against Chicago's Jason Robinson in the cruiserweight division, Homer Gibbons of Zebulon against Paul Williams of Augusta in the junior middleweight division and Atlanta's Xavier Tolliver against Savannah's David Jones in the welterweight division among ithers.

The boxing matches will be held in the Southern Star Amphitheater. Fight Night tickets are $50 for ringside and $30 for general seats, both include general park admission and can be purchased only through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 404-249-6400. Event upgrades from a general use ticket can be purchased for $10 at the Southern Star gate.
