Picnic for racial unity in Fayetteville this Saturday

The ninth annual Race Unity Picnic will be June 16 from 1-5 p.m. at Church Street Park in Fayetteville.

This event is cosponsored by the Fayette County Branch of the NAACP and the Bahais of Fayetteville, Fayette County and Peachtree City. There will be musical entertainment, from jazz to gospel, crafts, games and plenty of food. The event is free and the public is invited.

The goal is to show a living model of racial unity and harmony and how it can affect the future.
