Just when you thought the high school soccer season was over, they pull you back in.

The girls and boys Georgia High School All Star games will be this saturday at DeKalb Memorial Stadium before the Atlanta Silverbacks game against the Charlotte Eagles.

The set-up for the games is players from Class A, AA, AAA and AAAA against players from AAAAA. The girls play at 2:45 and the boys play at 4:30. As you can imagine there is local representation on the field and the sidelines for both the boys and girls AAAAA squads.

Starr's Mill Coach Mike Hanie and McIntosh's coach, Bunky Colvin, will be coaches on the AAAAA boys team, while McIntosh Coach Stephen Buckner will be a coach for the AAAAA girls.

Local boys on the AAAAA team are McIntosh's Matt Clements and Travis Britt and Starr's Mill's Sammy Chang and Danny Bates. Local girls on the AAAAA team are McIntosh's Julie Herdic and Keri Pendergrass and Starr's Mill's Alice Martin.

Tickets for all that soccer are just $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-14. Those who miss the high school show and arrive at 5:30 p.m. for the Silverbacks game will pay the usual price of $12 for adults and $8 for children. Programs featuring all rosters will be $1.

To get to DeKalb Memorial Stadium, Take I-285 east to the Memorial Drive exit. Go east toward Stone Mountain Park and continue east on Memorial Drive. Approximately a mile down the road will be Memorial College Avenue. Turn left and the stadium will be on the left.
