Holy Trinity Church announces expansion plans Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City has announced plans for expansion of its facilities over the next five years. Plans have been drawn and approved and a fund-raising campaign has been launched entitled, "Doing the Work of the Lord: Holy Trinity's Plan for Expansion." The goal is to raise a minimum of $3 million. Expansion plans will include purchasing property on Prime Point, building classrooms for the Parish School of Religion, program, providing more space for the Life Teen program, increasing the adult education space, building a new rectory, increasing the number of parking spaces, and improving the traffic flow. "From the start, the families who have joined us have been very supportive, active and enthusiastic, "said Fr. John Walsh, pastor of Holy Trinity. "Each time a need arose, it was met with faith, hope and love by our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. By working and sacrificing together, we will preserve and enhance the wonderful legacy that has been passed on to us." The church first celebrated Mass in 1973 and has grown from a group of 55 families to over 3,000 families. Holy Trinity is involved in over 60 ministries to its parish. The church is on Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City. |
