Bike-A-Thon to raise funds for McIntosh cheerleaders The Varsity Cheerleaders at McIntosh High School will hold a Bike-A-Thon to raise funds for its Cheer Program. The Varsity Cheerleaders have in the past five years consistently placed first, second or third in Regional and State Cheerleading Competition. The 10-mile Bike Ride will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 with a Start/Finish at the Peachtree Crossing Shopping Center in Peachtree City. The ride is supported by a Rest Stop that will include plenty of snacks and water. Ride monitors will be positioned at 1-mile intervals along the Pre-designated 10-mile scenic and picturesque bike path. Families and individuals are encouraged to ride, however children must be over the age of 10 and helmets are required. Riders may pick up Registration Forms at Bicycles Unlimited in Peachtree City or contact Ms. Dana Camp at 770 716 7226. Pre-registration contributions for an Individual/Family are $6.00/$18.00, Registration on Day of Ride is $10.00/$25.00 respectively.
