Senior adults plan lunch at Blue Willow

The Sam's group at the Fayetteville Christian Church is planning a trip to the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle on Saturday, June 16. The cost is $15.75 per person and includes tax and tip. Payment must be received by Sunday, June 10. The Sam's group is open to all adults age 52 and older. Fayetteville Christian is at New Hope and Hickory Roads in Fayetteville. Inman women to meet June 12

Hiawassee trip planned by FCC senior adults

The Sam's group at the Fayetteville Christian Church is planning a trip to Hiawassee and Young Harris on Wednesday, July 11. Plans include lunch at Daniel's Steakhouse in Hiawassee and a play, "The reach of Song," on the campus of Young Harris College. Cost for the play is $10 per person and payment must be received by Sunday, June 10. The Sam's group is open to persons age 52 or older. Christian City needs volunteers

Christian City, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing for the needs of children and the aged and infirm, seeks volunteers in a variety of capacities. Volunteers are needed to serve as chaplains, Bible study leaders and church service volunteers; to help with transportation, beauty shop, corner store/ice cream parlor, library, information desk, arts and crafts (craft class leaders, painting classes and others); to lead story telling, nature walks, gardening activities, music and more. McDonough Rd. kids to visit Noah's Ark

First and second graders at McDonough Rd. Baptist Church will visit Noah's Ark Animal Adventure on Wednesday, June 6, leaving at 10:30 a.m. and returning at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $3 per person. The North Fayette United Methodist Church Parents' Day Out program has begun registration for its 2000-2001 school year.
