Soldier says thanks My name is Kenneth Gosnell. I am the son of Judy Robinson and brother of Kevin Robinson. I know that at times the Army sends out Home Town news bulletins about how we, "the local soldiers," are doing. I thought that I would send one out myself because I want to say thank you. I noticed a recent article about the Memorial Day ceremonies that are planned in the area. This makes me extremely proud to know that the town that I grew up in thinks so highly of its veterans. I have been in the Army for only seven years now, but it does not seem that long. I am due to reenlist soon and seeing this article makes me not even think about getting out of the service. For those of you that know of me or my family, just know that you mean the world to me. And knowing that I am here in Germany, serving you from way over here, I long to come home soon. I think I speak for the soldiers when I say that when we are deployed, it is the friends and family back home that help us get back safely and in good spirits. Again, I just wanted to say thank you to all those people out there that support the armed forces. You make us the soldiers that we are. SPC Kenneth Gosnell Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Germany
