Graduates head to the future By JOHN
THOMPSON
Students at Coweta County's three public high schools will flip their tassels this weekend and start on their journey in life. East Coweta, Northgate and Newnan high schools all plan to conduct services in their respective stadiums. In case of rain, ceremonies will move inside to the schools' gymnasiums, with admission to ticket-holders only. Each graduate receives an allotment of tickets to distribute to immediate family. No tickets are available from the schools. During the ceremonies, students will hear messages of hope from their valedictorians and salutatorians as well as words of encouragement from Coweta County School System officials. Newnan High School's ceremony is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 in the stadium. East Coweta High School's graduation ceremony will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. Northgate High's ceremony is scheduled for tonight at 7. Golf cart shuttle service will be provided from the ticket gate to the home stands.
