Fayette County Kiwanis Club announces dates for county fair

The Fayette County Kiwanis Club has announced the dates and theme for its 50th Anniversary County Fair.

The dates for this year's fair will be September 24-29 and the theme will be "Something's Cooking At The Fair."

"The fair will have attractions for young and old alike," said spokesperson Ron McCurry. "There will be a petting zoo and pig racing as well as a mechanical bull, rides and games."

Once again, All America Shows will be on the Midway with rides like the Carousel and the Ferris Wheel. There will be local entertainment each evening and all sorts of the fun foods one expects at the county fair.
