Switching careers . . .

Thank you for sharing Amy Riley's comments on "Teach for Georgia" in her May 2 column, "Let's give 'Teach for Ga.' a fair chance."

As a reciprocal program and opportunity for teachers and educators leaving their field for the profit and loss world of business, why don't we require them to have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, before we interview them for a job? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Just a thought: a modest proposal.
