Cary does great job with obits Please accept my sincere appreciation for the professionalism Carolyn Cary exhibits when writing the obituary column. She and The Citizen prove once again that bigger does not necessarily mean better. My father, Mr. Leonard D. Beard, died recently. His obituary in the Mobile Press-Register was so completely in error that my sister said she did not recognize him as her father. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's obituary was just about as bad. And then, along comes "the little newspaper that could" and does it perfectly. How wonderful that it just happened to be my local paper. Whether or not the obituaries were accurate never occurred to me until it was my loved one. I hope other people recognize the effort and great care that Carolyn Cary demonstrates when writing about their relatives and friends. Thank you so much, Ms. Cary. You could teach the big boys a thing or two. Cheryl B. Livingston Fayetteville
