Our Lady of Victory will host community health fair April 30 Our Lady of Victory school will host a community-wide health fair Monday, April 30, from 8-11 a.m., featuring screenings and tests especially designed for seniors. There is a charge for the service. Anyone in the communities of Fayette, Coweta, South Fulton and surrounding counties is welcome to participate. Blood pressure screening, foot and ankle exams, osteoporosis testing, mammograms, glucose/cholesterol screening, and Life Scan 2000 all will be offered. Mammograms and Life Scan 2000 require an appointment, and glucose testing requires a 12-hour fast prior to the test. Mammograms also require a doctor's prescription. The Fayette County police and fire departments will offer safety tips and demonstrate seat belt safety for seniors. The Red Cross will offer a program on health for seniors, and representatives from a chiropractic office, a dental office, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Association, and SP Recycling will be on hand.
