Companies honored by state
Two Fayette Companies were recently honored by the Georgia Economic Developers Association. Photocircuits Corporation received the Governor's Existing Award in the large manufacturers category in Region 3. The award recognizes a business that has made a substantial economic and/or social contribution to their community. Photocircuits has been making printed circuit boards for 22 years. The largest employer in the county, the company employs 1,400 and has expanded significantly in the last five years. The company invest in the local community by making contributions to several civic groups including the Kiwanis Club and the McIntosh Touchdown Club. Hella Incorporated was honored with the Governor's Existing Award in the small manufacturer's category for Region 3. The company is a manufacturer of innovative products in the field of lighting technology and vehicle electrical systems. During its 10 years in Peachtree City, the staff has doubled from 30 to 60. The company management and employees support a wide range of social and civic activities in the county. |
