Seals Communications Corporation (Sealsco), an electronic media marketing and television production company based in Fayetteville, has scored a number of recent coups.

"MotoWorld," a television series often referred to as the "SportsCenter" of motorcycle racing, which premiered in 1984, has been renewed for an additional three-year term by ESPN2. Sealsco is also set to launch MotoWorld magazine this fall.

"The strength of the MotoWorld brand name offers an unparalleled TV history and a built-in media presence that no other motorcycle publication can claim," said Lou Seals, founder and chairman/CEO of Sealsco. "Similar to ESPN and ESPN The Magazine, MotoWorld magazine will offer a variety of content, along with a few surprises."

MotoWorld is sponsored by American Suzuki Motor Company and has recently signed a cosponsorship agreement with Yamaha Motor Corporation.

"The MotoWorld brand is the premiere name in motorcycle television," remarked Bob Starr, corporate communications manager for Yamaha Motorsports Group Company. "We're delighted to expand our association with Sealsco on MotoWorld."

Sealsco also recently announced that former Atlanta Brave Steve Bedrosian will be the new host for "American Expeditions" on ESPN2 beginning in July.

"American Expeditions," presented by Yamaha, is an outdoors television series featuring a variety of hunting and fishing activities. The show recently won a bronze Telly Award in the television/cable sports category. Bedrosian is an accomplished outdoorsman and conservationist. "American Expeditions" is a part of the popular ESPN@ Sunday morning outdoors block and is entering its fourth year on television.

"Steve's a natural fit for 'American Expeditions,'" said Winston Greely, producer of the show for Sealsco. "We're happy to have him aboard. Steve's love for the outdoors and the excitement he brings to the table will add extra value to the show."
