Office proposal on Tyrone agenda The Tyrone Planning Commission is slated to consider a rezoning request for more office space in the town. The proposed offices would be at the intersection of Ga. Highway 74 and Dogwood Trail on a 44-acre tract. The property is currently zoned for agricultural uses. The applicant also is asking for a variance for the reduction of the lot width from 300 feet to 200 feet. The Planning Commission convenes at 7 p.m. Thursday at Town Hall.
