Ernest Hodge was recently named to the Board of Directors of Peachtree National Bank. In making the announcement, Peachtree National Bank President Ron Duffey said, "Our Board of Directors is a strength of the bank and the members have been primarily responsible for our success. The addition of Ernie Hodge significantly adds to that strength and brings to us an individual successful in his business endeavors and leadership ability." Hodge is an entrepreneur with a business philosophy of being a leader in the market place, while achieving high customer satisfaction and good employee relations, said Duffey. He is founder and CEO of the March/Hodge Holding Company, which owns and operates 18 car dealerships in six states with projected sales of $425 million. In 1999, the company was recognized as Dealer of the Year by Black Enterprise Magazine and named as the second largest minority owned automotive dealer. Locally, Hodge is president and CEO of the Heritage Automotive Group. This company owns and operates Heritage Cadillac, Heritage Oldsmobile and Heritage Volkswagen in Morrow, Heritage Volkswagen in Lithia Springs and Kennesaw Lincoln-Mercury in Kennesaw. A new Infinity of Union City is under construction. Hodge is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way, Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Atlanta Automobile Dealer Association. Hodge was graduated from Norfolk State University and the General Motors Dealer Development Academy in Flint, Michigan. |
