Sports Calendar * Blue Chip Girls Basketball Shootout is coming to Georgia Tech on Saturday, March 17. Registration is from 8-8:30 a.m. and games begin at 9 a.m. This one day event is designed for the student athlete who aspires to play at the college level. The athletes will play three games on teams that are coached by area basketball coaches. The camp, open to golfers ages 7-13 years old, will offer swing lessons, short game work, putting instruction, lessons on rules and 9 holes of golf on the par 3 course each day. Women will learn how to safely handle a handgun, shotgun or rifle, while being introduced to the fun of the shooting sports.
