Opening Friday

15 Minutes Robert Deniro (You talking to me?) stars as a cop who is going after two foreign baddies that videotape murders and sell it to the news. I hope this is good because I love Robert Deniro. Rated R.

Get Over It This is yet another teen comedy and this one looks to be the worst one yet. The plot is about a guy dating his friend's sister and getting shot with an arrow. Yuk. One more thing, who decided Sisqo was a star? Teens, enjoy. Everyone else, go see Best In Show. Rated PG-13.

Now Playing

3,000 Miles to Graceland Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell star in this action film about Elvis impersonators robbing a casino. This film has a huge cast besides Costner and Russell and could be entertaining. Rated R.

13 Days Kevin Costner stars in this drama about the Cuban missile crisis. Go see this to see how close we came to world annihilation, or go see it to laugh at the Boston accents of the guys playing the Kennedys. Rated R.

Cast Away Tom Hanks was amazing as a man stranded on a deserted island. He will win the Oscar for Best Actor and this film will captivate you. Appropriate for almost any age, though some scenes may be too intense for children, Cast Away is destined to be a classic. Rated PG-13.

Chocolat Juliette Binoce stars as the owner of a chocolate shop that tempts the citizens of a small French town. This is up for Best Picture at this year's Oscars. Rated PG-13.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon This is one of the best films of the year. It has action, romance, comedy and drama. Though it is in Mandarin with English subtitles, you will be swept away by the film and forget that you are reading. This is also up for Best Picture, as well as Best Foreign Film. Rated PG-13.

Down To Earth Chris Rock stars as a comedian who dies before his time and returns to Earth in the body of a rich, old, white man. This is a remake of Heaven Can Wait and could be quite good. Rated PG-13.

Finding Forrester Sean Connery stars in this film as a reclusive author who befriends a promising young writer. Rated PG-13.

Hannibal A superb film, both well acted and well directed. Anthony Hopkins is brilliant as the creepy Dr. Lecter and Julianne Moore is great replacing Jody Foster as Agent Starling. This has some gory parts but is still a satisfying thriller. Rated R.

Miss Congeniality Sandra Bullock stars as an FBI agent who goes undercover on the beauty pageant circuit. I'll bet she wins, because she's so darned cute. Rated PG-13.

Monkeybone A comic book illustrator falls into a coma and it is up to him and his creation to defeat Death (played by Whoopi Goldberg in the role she was born to play) and return to consciousness. Rated PG-13.

O Brother Where Art Thou This film, written and directed by The Coen Brothers (Fargo) is set in the Depression Era south. It is humorous and beautifully directed but the film goes nowhere and none of the characters change. Rated PG-13.

Recess: School's Out The Disney cartoon hits the big screen. The film focuses on a school break filled with action and comedy. If you are a fan of the show, you will love the movie. Rated G.

Save The Last Dance This movie is about a girl who moves to an inner city school and learns to follow her dreams of becoming a professional dancer. Sorry, but this one is not for me. Rated PG-13.

Saving Silverman The story of a man's friends kidnapping his fiance so that bachelorhood can go on forever. This looks lame but it does have jack Black (one of my favorite actors) as one of the psycho friends. By the way, this is a comedy. I think. Rated PG-13.

See Spot Run David Arquette plays a goofy postal worker who accidentally adopts a former FBI dog that is in the witness protection program. Rated PG.

Sweet November Keanu Reeves stars as an all-business business man and Charlize Theron stars as a woman who dates men for one month to reawaken their spirits. A nice movie for Valentine's Day weekend. Rated PG-13.

The Mexican Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts star in this action-comedy about a stolen gun and love on the run. Sounds like fun. Rated R.

The Wedding Planner Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey star in this film about a wedding planner who falls in love with her client. This is the type of film Julia Roberts used to make before becoming a serious, award-winning actress. Rated PG-13.

Traffic This film, directed by Steven Soderbergh, was very well done. It has a great cast, including a stellar performance from Benicio Del Toro, and tip top direction. This movie is a sure fire
