FFUMC will offer Lenten lunches each Wednesday

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will offer a series of light Lenten lunches and short devotionals each Thursday during Lent at 12 noon, dismissing by 1 p.m. The theme of the devotionals will be "In Plain View of the Cross." Primetimers schedule luncheon

Auditions announced for PTC UMC production

The Peachtree City United Methodist Church will conduct auditions for soprano and baritone solos for its production of Theodore Dubois' "The Seven Last Words of Christ," which will be performed by the Chancel Choir and orchestra Sunday, March 25 at the morning worship service. Chemical dependance Christian support group meets

Inman UMC offers 'Kidlink' preschool program

Inman United Methodist Church invites children in the community to be a part of "Kidlink," its preschool program offered in a Christian setting. Children will have an opportunity to learn about God and Christ as they discover, interact, and use their imagination in a fun learning atmosphere. Mother's Morning Out to begin at Providence UMC

The Mother's Morning Out program at Providence United Methodist Church is now accepting applications for the 2001-2002 school year. The program is open to children ages 6 weeks to 2 years of age. Seniors invited to join 'McFolks' at MRBC

Senior adults in the community are invited to be a part of the 'McFolks' group at McDonough Road Baptist Church. The group participates in out-of-town trips, local get-togethers, and has its own choir at the church. The Senior Singing Adult Choir meets on Wednesday mornings. Fourth, fifth graders invited to join Project 54

Fourth and fifth graders in the Fayette area are invited to join the Project 54 group at Providence United Methodist Church. The group meets Sunday evenings at the church from 5-7 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring $3 for dinner. For further information, call the church at 770-719-8800.

Providence UMC youth plan April ski trip

The senior high youth group at Providence United Methodist Church is planning a ski trip to Breckinridge, Colo., April 1-5, 2001. Cost for the trip is $575 and includes air fare, lodging, lifts, equipment and most meals. A deposit of $150 is needed to reserve a space. For more information, call Allan Todd at 770-719-8800.
