Bethany UMC plans Ash Wednesday service

Members of Bethany United Methodist Church will have an Ash Wednesday service Wednesday, Feb. 28, immediately following the church supper at 6 p.m. Bethany is on the corner of Rivers Rd. and Milam Rd. in North Fayette County.

National Heights Ash Wednesday service announced

National Heights Baptist Church will have an Ash Wednesday service tonight, Feb. 28, at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Marc Bramblett will lead the service. Supper will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $3.50 for adults and $1.50 for children 10 and under. Ash Wednesday service is tonight at FFUMC

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have an Ash Wednesday service tonight, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rev. Sam Matthews will conduct the service. The community is invited to attend. For more information, call the church at 770-461-4313.

PTC UMC hosts senior adult luncheon tomorrow

Auditions announced for PTC UMC production

The Peachtree City United Methodist Church will conduct auditions for soprano and baritone solos for its production of Theodore Dubois' "The Seven Last Words of Christ," which will be performed by the Chancel Choir and orchestra Sunday, March 25 at the morning worship service. Mother's Morning Out to begin at Providence UMC

The Mother's Morning Out program at Providence United Methodist Church is now accepting applications for the 2001-2002 school year. The program is open to children ages 6 weeks to 2 years of age. Locust Grove UMC announces teen driving web site

The Locust Grove United Methodist Church has announced a Teen Driver's Training Page on its web site at www.locustgroveumc.com/TeenDriving.htm. The page provides access to training materials, online practice tests and tips for both teens and parents. It also includes links to AARP's 55 Alive driving program for seniors, as well as links to the Georgia Department of Public Safety to download the driver's license manual.
