Will your kids melt in rain?

Are your children made of sugar? Will they melt on the way to the bus stop? If you answer no to both questions then you have no right to criticize Kerry FitzPatrick. In fact, I believe Kerry should be commended for voicing her opinion in a society where teens are labeled apathetic and lazy.

Kerry's points were that of most driving teens who must arrange their morning schedules around the pleas of your spoiled, bratty children. I drive to school for two reasons: 1) I often go straight to work from school, and 2) I'm 17 and have paid my dues to the bus gods. I, like most teens, rode the bus until second semester junior year. It is my privilege as a senior to drive to school.

To those adults (listen up, Jimmy Coker) who slam the seniors for driving to school instead of taking the bus: What bus do you take to work? I know that parents would much rather blame the teenagers for the traffic, but we're sick of being the scapegoats for society. Sometimes the blame falls on the parent's inability to say "no" to their child.

P.S. Robert Page, I found your tone condescending and immature. We need to get lives? You're still intimidating Tweety Bird.
