Re: the picture on Page 2A of the Feb. 14 issue of the paper. Just to set the record straight: The accident happened on Thursday, Feb. 8. The truck was not carrying lumber, but apple trees.

The accident happened in front of my house and I was there within minutes. After several hours, they cut the trailer in two so it could be hauled off by a wrecker. They unloaded the trees and someone came back for them around 10 that night.
