Metro Brokers/ Better Homes and Gardens breaks ground on new Peachtree City office
In a move that will dramatically increase the companyís visibility in the Peachtree City residential real estate market, Metro Brokers/Better Homes and Gardens announced that it will become the anchor tenant of the new Peachtree Promenade shopping center at the corner of Highway 54 and Shakerag Hill, across from Dairy Queen. The company recently broke ground on the new office, which will open in late spring of 2001 and is already under construction. Upon its completion, the company will move from its current office on Westpark Drive where it has been located since opening in 1992. The new location will be a state-of-the-art facility with more than 3,000 square feet of office space which can accommodate up to 50 sales associates. The current office has 25 sales associates, including top producer Wendy Greene. Kevin Levent, president of Metro Brokers/Better Homes and Gardens, handled the official ground breaking duties. "The Peachtree City market has been extremely good to us the last eight years," Levent said. "But we're looking at this new location as an opportunity to increase our visibility and presence in the community. We anticipate our agent population will double in two years, and we want to be ready." Metro Brokers / Better Homes and Gardens has more than 750 agents and 20 offices, including seven offices south of I-20. The company was founded in 1979 and is a member of the GMAC Real Estate family of companies. |
