Mill students win Optimist Essay Contest
The following students won medals for the Optimist Club of Peachtree City's essay contest. The subject of the contest is: "Are we losing our freedom?" First place went to Paul Hobson, a senior at Starr's Mill High School, while second place went to Scott Starowicz, a senior at Starr's Mill. Bobby Taggart, another senior at Starr's Mill, took third place in the contest. Each was presented a certificate and medals at Shadows restaurant Monday, Jan. 29, by the Peachtree City Optimist Club. Paul Hobson's essay will be presented at the next level for the district competition in March. |
