Ballet to hold company auditions By MICHAEL
BOYLAN Attention all dancers! Fayette Ballet will have its annual company auditions Saturday, Feb. 10 at the School of Performing Arts Studio, 102 North 85 Parkway in Fayetteville. The auditions will be for the junior company and the senior company. The junior company auditions will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Dancers must be between 8 and 12 and have backgrounds in ballet and/or jazz training. The senior company auditions will be 2:30-4 p.m. Dancers must be 13 or older with an intermediate-to-advanced level of ballet training. Pointe work and jazz training are an asset. Dancers selected for the Fayette Ballet Company will appear in the upcoming excerpts from the "Sleeping Beauty" ballet to be presented June 9 at Sams Auditorium in Fayetteville.
