River's Edge to present Watoto Children's Choir In celebration of Black Awareness, River's Edge Community Church will present the Watoto Children's Choir from Kampala, Uganda Sunday, Feb. 11. The choir will present a full concert with a unique blend of contemporary praise and traditional African rhythm. "Each of the children in the choir has had the horrific experience of losing one or both of their parents to war and disease," said River's Edge pastor John Hatcher. "Yet through their lively singing and dancing you hear and see the joy and hope they have found in Jesus Christ. Concerts of Hope give you an opportunity to hear Watoto sing, and respond to the plight of Africa's impoverished children."
