Excited that Brown may run for mayor We are regular readers of The Citizen and appreciate it as a source of information and viewpoints on issues affecting our community. We've lived in Peachtree City for five years now, and like many others, have become increasingly concerned that the threat of over-development will negatively impact our quality of life and property value if current trends continue unchecked. Anyone who regularly travels around our city knows full well that the infrastructure is extremely strained and cannot handle traffic from the projects already approved, let alone new ones under consideration. We were excited to read in your Jan. 31 issue that Steve Brown is a possible candidate for mayor. We know Steve's views support the position that the residents' wishes should come before the developers. This is exactly the message we will be poised to support in the next election, and many of our friends and neighbors feel as strongly as we do on this point. In case you are monitoring public opinion on Steve's potential candidacy, I think you'll find overwhelming resident support for this prospect. Thanks for continuing to provide a voice for those who, like us, enjoy living here and want to preserve the quality of life over the quantity of developer profits.
