Tyrone a redneck Bubbaville?

Re: Your article in the FactFinder on Tyrone. I have had the unhappy experience of living amongst the "dumb as dirt, redneck as it gets, Bubbaville-thinking" Town Council, mayor and residents in Tyrone for the past 11 years.

Your article in the FactFinder points out the unbearable difficulty of having to deal with the Tyrone "authorities" (as if anyone in this God-forsaken governmental body was an authority on anything!). I tried to deal with them as a builder/developer starting in 1985 and have lived in the Carrowmore subdivision since 1990 (I always tell people from around the country I meet that I live on Line Creek just outside Peachtree City so they won't think I'm stupid!).

All anyone connected with the town government has ever wanted was and is for things to "stay as they are" ... which would be okay if there was any redeeming value to the place at all, but unfortunately there is not.

Just read your own article and you will know how backwards this place truly is.

Tyrone doesn't consider "growth issues with care," they don't have enough sense to. They just "say no"!
