Pitching hand poured grubs for heavily pressured bass This is a tactic for heavily pressured lakes and rivers that have largemouth bass holding in tight to the structure or buried up in heavy cover. This type of cover would include boat docks, wood structure, lily pads and many types of vegetation. This tactic involves fishing big five inch Keeper Cutom Worm grubs Texas style to the bass. I recommend and use 15-20 pound green fishing line along with a 4/0 or 5/0 off-set worm hook. Now, for you to be successful at this tactic you must learn to control underhand pitches with your grub rig as far away as 20 feet from the cover you are pitching to. Also, your grub rig should make little or no splash when pitched into or around cover. For the best results with this tactic, I recommend that you try the hand poured grubs made by Keeper Custom Worms in the colors of green with red, black and pearl colors. For added fish-catching attraction, i reccommend adding jack juice fish attractant to your grub rig. Follow these things that I have mentioned and you'll catch more fish. Good fishing Chris Foster |
