* The Fayette County Wrestling Club will meet Mondays and Thursdays at the old Fayette County High School gym from 7-8:30 p.m. The club is open to students in first through eighth grade and is coached by Frank Bennett and Ron Nelson. * The Peachtree City Lacrosse Club will be starting its first competitive season on Feb. 1, 2001 at the Booth Middle School. Meeting times are 4:00pm for boys and 5:00pm for girls. Come join and have some fun playing the "Fastest Sport on Two Feet" for more info call Coach Craver # 770-486-8616. Peachtree City Boys Lacrosse Clubs will being it's season Feb.1. Sign-ups are for boys ages 13-17. All Starrs Mill & McIntosh athletes are welcome! Middle School eigth graders are also invited to join the first team in Fayette county. First game scheduled for March.

* Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. Boys, ages 8-19 and Girls, ages 10-19, can apply. There are camps located all over the country. Former participants include Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Jerry Stackhouse and Antawn Jamison. Players are selected by invitation only and college scholarships are possible for players named to the All-American Team. For an evaluation form, call 704-568-6801.

* The Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association announces Spring 2001 soccer registration sessions for new and returning players on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Peachtree City Library. Registration will also be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the library, on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Baseball/Soccer Complex, Highway 74, and the final date Saturday, Jan. 27 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Library. * The Fayette County Youth Soccer League will be holding registration for boys and girls spring outdoor recreational soccer on Saturdays, Jan. 20, 27 and Feb. 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the McCurry Park Soccer Complex. Ages are from 4-19. Costs are $50 for 31/2-to 6 year olds, $85 for 6-8 year olds, $95 for 8-16 year olds and $105 for 16-19 year olds. * Brooks Recreation Department will hold registration for baseball and softball on Saturdays, Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Brooks Park.

* The Peachtree City Tennis Center will hold their Ladies Beginner Tennis League beginning Feb. 23. Registration is being held now. Call 770-486-9474 for more information.

* The Fayette County Baseball Association will hold registration at the Kiwanis Recreation Center on Redwine Rd. on Saturdays, Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. A copy of the player's birth certificate and proof of residency are required at registration. The fees for registration are $30 for PreT-Ball, $110 for T-Ball and 7-8, $120 for 9-10 and 11-12, $135 for 13-14 and $150 for 15-16. * Registration has begun for golf instruction offered by the Peachtree City Recreation Department. The class will be taught by PGA member Ted Meier and is open to idividuals ages 19 and over. the classs will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Feb. 6 either in the morning from 9:30-11 a.m. or in the afternoon from 4:30-6 p.m. The class will be held at Summer Grove Golf Club on Lower Fayetteville Rd. in Coweta County at a cost is $110.
