Sports Calendar * The Fayette County Wrestling Club will meet Mondays and Thursdays at the old Fayette County High School gym from 7-8:30 p.m. The club is open to students in first through eighth grade and is coached by Frank Bennett and Ron Nelson. The tournament is for boys and girls teams from Under 8- Under 19 with separate divisions for Classic, Premier, Athena, Recreational and High School teams. The competition will begin Dec. 27 and end Jan. 1, 2001 with different age groups playing on different dates. Older age groups will utilize the famous Futbol Rapido format. All players will receive tickets to The Atlanta Silverbacks home opener in April. Players are selected by invitation only and college scholarships are possible for players named to the All-American Team.
