Thursday, Dec. 21 Richard Marx will be "Right Here Waiting" for you at Centennial Olympic Park.

The Grammy Award-winning artist and founder of Signal 121 will lead the Christmas sing along with the Sugarloaf Community Choir.

Marx is best known for his second album, "Repeat Offender." The album went triple platinum within four months in 1989 and produced two number one singles, "Satisfied" and "Right Here Waiting." His self-titled debut album in 1987 was also a smash hit, featuring the single, "Don't Mean Nothing."

The event will be hosted by Peach 94.9 and is free to the public. The sing-along begins at 6 p.m.

Dec. 21 also is the last day to donate toys and clothes for the needy at Centennial Olympic Park. There are two gigantic charity Christmas packages next to Visitors Center. The toys and clothing will be donated to various nonprofit charitable organizations in the downtown area.

Centennial Olympic Park is the setting for Holiday In Lights, which features 21 acres of dazzling displays, including a 50-foot Christmas tree in lights. Also at Centennial Olympic Park is the BellSouth Internet Services Ice Skating Rink. The rink is open until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
