"Merry Christmas from Georgia, Recipes for the Season" by Michelle Stone is the perfect cookbook for the busy chef on your list.

The recipes contained in this compact volume, the third in a series by Stone, are easy to prepare and utilize ingredients that are staples in every kitchen.

Directions for whipping up "Office Party Vegetable Pizza" and "Seafood Delight Spread" can be found in the appetizer section of the book.

Stone offers a comprehensive selection of beverages in the following chapter, with recipes for holiday punch bowls and cozy hot chocolates.

Breads, breakfast and brunch recipes, plus soups, salads and entrees, round out the book which concludes with a tempting array of dessert and candy receipts, perfect for serving or giving as gifts.

Stone is a Southern cookbook writer from Kentucky. Her two previous books are collections of holiday recipes from Kentucky and the South, aptly titled, "Merry Christmas from Kentucky" and "Merry Christmas from the South."

Her latest title, "Merry Christmas from Georgia," is published by McClanahan Publishing House, Kuttawa, Kentucky. It is available locally at Barnes and Noble.
