Christ the King is a few steps closer to move to Coweta

Church leaders at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Peachtree City are currently interviewing architects and capital stewardship firms in anticipation of breaking ground their new facility on Ga. Hwy. 34 in Coweta County. A committee has been appointed and tasked with relocating the congregation to the 11.5-acre Coweta County site.

For the past four years, congregation has been meeting in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home on Ga. Hwy. 74 in Peachtree City.

Church leaders anticipate the move by the fall of 2001.
