Nominations for Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame have begun

Fayette County High School has begun the process of selections for its Sports Hall of Fame Celebration for 2001 and would like the public's help in soliciting nominations.

The school would like the name of the athlete to be nominated, the sport or sports he or she played, their graduation year, honors (if known) and other reasons for consideration.

The nominations are due Dec. 4 and should be mailed to Gary Phillips, principal, c/o Fayette County High School, 1 Tiger Trail, Fayetteville 30214.
