Tournament and auction to benefit Southwest Christian Hospice

Many Atlanta Braves will be teeing up at Planterra Ridge Golf Club in Peachtree City Monday, Nov. 6.

They will be participating in the Southwest Christian Hospice Celebrity Golf Classic and they would like you to join them.

This year's select shot/scramble tournament promises to be an exciting and rewarding experience for everyone involved. The goal is to have each foursome matched up with a current or former major league player or local celebrity.

Proceeds will benefit Southwest Christian Hospice, which provides both home care and inpatient hospice services to terminally ill persons and their families.

Space is limited to the first 128 entries. Individual registration is $300, while a foursome registration is $1,200. Phone Mike Sorrow at 770-969-8354 for information.

There will also be a sports memorabilia auction at Peachtree City Christian Church. Proceeds will benefit the hospice. The silent auction is at 4 p.m. and the live auction is at 5 p.m. Phone 770-969-8354.
