'Taste of Home Family Fair' planned for Nov. 11

Women of the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City will present a, "Taste of Home Family Fair" on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church. The first-time event will feature crafts, new and used items, cakes and baked goods, plants, bulbs and cuttings, homemade soup and cornbread, and a cakewalk.

Many crafters from the Atlanta area are expected to attend. Homemade items available will be jewelry, wreaths, Christmas ornaments, florals, harvest decorations and decorative items.

The Pantry will feature cakes, pies, breads, cookies, candies and garden fresh canned goods.

The Attic Treasures will offer new and used items in good condition.

The Green Thumb will feature bulbs, plants and cuttings for those interested in gardening.

While Mom is shopping, kids can visit the Kids corner and make crafts while they wait.

The Blue Ribbon Cafe will offer homemade soup and cornbread, and homemade pies, cakes, and cookies.

An old-fashioned cakewalk is planned for the afternoon.
