Ritalin controversy examined
The controversy over Ritalin will be discussed in the Mother's Morning Out program Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library on Flat Shoals Road in Union City. The program, which runs from 11 a.m. to noon, will inform participants about Ritalin's side effects and how the drug is marketed, and will give information on how nervous system interference can be corrected without drugs. Ritalin is widely used for children thought to be hyperactive. The program is free and open to the public. For information phone 770-306-3092.
