Hospital celebrates third birthday In September, Fayette Community Hospital (FCH) celebrated its third year of service to the community, reporting growth in all performance areas during one of the most challenging times in healthcare. "In spite of obstacles presented by managed care and the Balanced Budget Act, the hospital continues to provide superior healthcare and health-related services to the people of Fayette County and surrounding communities, and we look forward to continuing this tradition well into the future," said Darrell Cutts, FCH CEO. Throughout the past year, FCH has added several new services in order to continue to meet the healthcare needs of the community. Additions include onsite mobile MRI, onsite renal dialysis and two new surgical suites to accommodate increased volume. Rising patient volumes are reflected in the Hospital's past fiscal year progress report, highlighted below. The hospital's fiscal year extended from July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000.
