FUMC seniors plan Zoo Atlanta trip tomorrow

The Third Thursday group (seniors age 55 and older) at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will visit Zoo Atlanta Thursday, Oct. 19, leaving the Family Life Center parking lot at 9 a.m. and returning to the church at approximately 2 p.m. The cost is $8, including lunch, and there is no limit to the number who may attend. St. Gabriel's Bazaar is this Friday, Saturday

Members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Fayetteville will have their annual Fall Craft Bazaar Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20 and 21, at the church. For more information, call St. Gabriel's parish office at 770-461-0492.

Halloween pumpkins for sale at FUMC

The UMYF youth group at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is selling pumpkins at "The Pumpkin Patch" on the grounds of the church on Lanier Avenue (Ga. Hwy. 54) from 10 a.m. until dark each day. Pumpkins start at $1 and the sale will continue through Oct. 31. Proceeds will go toward sponsoring youth on various spiritual retreats during the coming year.

'Mission Maniacs' schedule hayride at Harp's Farm

Fayetteville First United Methodist Church's "Mission Maniacs," the youth group for children in third, fourth and fifth grades, is planning a hayride at Harp's Farm on Sunday, Oct. 22. Those planning to attend should meet at the church at 4:15 p.m. The group will return to the church for regular Sunday night activities and dinner. Youth soccer league registration begins at Providence

Providence United Methodist Church will begin its first youth Athletic Outreach Program with an indoor soccer league for youth ages 6-9. Registration will be held each Sunday in October from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and each Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. For more information, call Tom Sewak at 678-817-1120.

Christ Our Hope plans fall adult retreat

Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a fall adult retreat led by Pastor Halenza at Camp Calvin in Hampton on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20 and 21. Activities will begin with a dinner Friday night at 7 p.m. and conclude Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. The cost is $45 per person and includes meals and one night's lodging.
