Inman UMC plans Fall Festival Oct. 28

Inman United Methodist Church will have its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 28, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Minter Farm on Hills Bridge Road. North Fayette UMC plans Halloween Carnival Oct. 28

North Fayette United Methodist Church will have a Halloween Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6-9 p.m. Activities will include a magic show, costume contest, games and food. North Fayette is located at 847 New Hope Rd. off Ga. Hwy. 314 northwest of Fayetteville. For information or directions, call the church at 770-461-2409.

National Heights Baptist Fall Festival is Oct. 29

National Heights Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 29, from 4-6 p.m. Activities will include a haunted house, moonwalk, games with prizes, crafts and refreshments. Everything is free and all children in the community are invited. National Heights is on the corner of Old Norton Rd. and Ga. Hwy. 54 in the vicinity of Fayette Community Hospital.

FUMC offers Halloween 'alternative' festival Oct. 29

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church youth will have a Halloween "Alternative" Festival on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 5-7 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Activities will include face painting, games, moonwalk, trick-or-treating, a cakewalk, hot dog cookout, train ride, and apple bobbing. All those planning to attend are encouraged to wear costumes. The church is adjacent to Courthouse Square in downtown Fayetteville.

Flat Creek sets 'Western Hoe-Down' Festival Oct. 31

Members of Flat Creek Baptist Church are planning a '"Western Hoe-Down" in the back parking lot of the church on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6-7:30 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to wear western "duds" or their favorite costume (nothing scary or witchy, please). Activities will include a duck pond, hayrides, calf roping, sheep shearing, face painting, games with prizes, and plenty of food. Parking will be available in the front of the church. Flat Creek church is on Flat Creek Trail, west of Fayetteville, between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Tyrone Rd.

McDonough Rd. Fall Festival is Oct. 31

McDonough Road Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5-8:30 p.m. Families and friends are invited to participate. McDonough Rd. Baptist in on McDonough Road off Ga. Hwy. 54, east of Fayetteville. For information and directions, call the church at 770-460-5423.
