River's Edge to celebrate 'Friend Day' River's Edge Community Church will celebrate "Friends Day" on Sunday, Oct. 15 with special musical guest Kevin Stone. All members are encouraged to bring their friends to church that day. Stone will perform at the Sunday morning worship service and will give a concert following the Sunday evening potluck dinner. The community is invited to attend. River's Edge is located at 1091 Jeff Davis Drive South in Fayetteville.
PTC First Presbyterian schedules grief support group The First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City will offer a support group on 'Grief Recovery' beginning Thursday, Oct. 19 from 7-8:30 p.m., and continuing for six weeks, excluding Thanksgiving week. The group is designed to help those who have lost loved ones within the past year prepare for the upcoming holidays, which can be a difficult time.
