New faces in new places

Ann A. Johnston has joined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Fayette County office as a sales associate.

Mrs. Johnston, who was a counselor with the Fulton County Board of Education, recently retired after 30 years in education.

A Fayetteville resident, she is married to Bob Johnston. They have one daughter, Lauren, 18.

The Johnstons are members of Fayette Presbyterian Church.

John J. Garcia is a new agent with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Garcia, who has been in real estate for three years, received his training through the MLS Training Institute. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

A native of Miami, he has lived in Newnan for six years.

Christy Sims has joined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Clayton County office as a sales associate.

Sims, who has been in real estate for two and one-half years, received her training through the Metro South Board of Realtors, Century 21, and Coldwell Banker Fast Start.

A Henry County resident, she is married to Machon Sims. They have one son, Christopher.

Shirley Richardson has rejoined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty as a sales associate in the Clayton County office.

Richardson, who worked in real estate with Bullard Realty Company from 1983 until 1993, was among the Top 10 from the company's College Park office nearly every month during that 10-year period. Also during that time, she completed a large number of real estate-related courses and seminars and earned a number of awards.

An East Point resident, she is married to Steve Richardson. They have two daughters Vangie, 27, and Stephanie, 23 and their first grandchild is due in January.

The Richardsons are members of Southwest Christian Church.

Candy Bishop is the builder representative for Tim Jones Communiies in The Magnolias of Eagle1s Landing, a neighborhood in the Eagle1s Landing planned community.

Mrs. Bishop, who recently joined Tim Jones Realty, has been in real estate for 13 years and was previously affiliated with Adams-Mitchell Realty, Tara Properties and Herman Homes Realty. A specialist in marketing new homes, Mrs. Bishop has sold homes in O1Hara Village, Falling Waters, The Legends and Settlers Creek.

An Active Life Member of the Metro South Association of Realtors1 Million Dollar Club, she has been a multi-million dollar producer in recent years.

Bishop, a Jonesboro resident, is married to Jerry Bishop, and she has one son and two granddaughters. She is a member of Metro Heights Baptist Church.

Yvonne C. Motley has joined the staff of Tim Jones Realty and is now serving as the company's builder representative in Ivy Place, located on Tara Road in Clayton County.

A Connecticut native, Motley has been in real estate for two and one-half years, and she was a million-dollar producer in 1999. She previously worked with Prudential Georgia Realty in Stockbridge and Gramm & Associates in McDonough and has marketing new homes in Carriage Lake in Stockbridge and Autumn Lakes in McDonough.

Now residing in The Meadows, a Tim Jones Communities development in the Hampton area of Clayton County, Motley holds an associate degree in business management from Mitchell College in New London, CT, and was with the administrative staff of a hospital in Connecticut for 21 years, serving the last eight years as assistant director of outpatient services, prior to moving to this area.

Ivy Place, a Tim Jones Communities development, offers homes priced from $100,000 to the $110,000s. Marty Woods, the Metro South Association of Realtors' "Realtor of the Year" for 2000, has joined Tim Jones Realty, the in-house marketing arm of Tim Jones Communities.

An Atlanta native, Woods has been in real estate for 25 years. First working in Alabama and Texas, she returned to Georgia 20 years ago and began marketing homes in the North Fulton and Gwinnett County area. She has specialized in new home sales for the past eight years.

A Million Dollar Club member for 14 years, she received the Phoenix Award from the Gwinnett Board of Realtors after 10 years of Million Dollar Club membership and was a $5 Million Dollar Club member while working in the Metro South area in 1999.

Ms. Woods was "Member of the Year" for the Gwinnett board's Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) in 1997; recipient of the President's Award from the Gwinnett board1s WCR in 1996; and was the President1s Award recipient for the Metro South Association of Realtors in 1999.

A Stockbridge resident, she is also a member of the board of directors for Haven House, the shelter for battered women and children in Henry County.

Tim Jones Realty has assigned Woods as builder representative in McCullough Ridge, a community of 62 executive estate homes in the McDonough area. Located on McCullough Road between Chambers Road and Flippen Road, this community features new house plans from Tim Jones Communities. Donna Matthews, who has been in real estate in this area for over six years, is now affiliated with Tim Jones Realty, the in-house marketing arm of Tim Jones Communities.

In addition to serving as a building representative in Tim Jones developments, she will be involved in general brokerage. "This means that if you are buying a home from us and you need to sell your existing home, we can handle the resale by listing it through Tim Jones Realty," she explained. "Our general brokerage division will also be equipped to market and sell raw land and commercial property throughout the Southern Crescent."

Matthews was previously a Two Million Dollar Producer with Tara Properties.

A McDonough resident, she has one daughter, Bailey, who is a sophomore at Georgia Southern University.
