November coffeehouse to feature Celtic music

Offshoot Productions has announced that the Saturday, Nov. 4 Stars on the Southern Crescent coffeehouse will feature Emerald Rose, a Celtic band from north Georgia.

This heralded group plays coffeehouses and festivals throughout the metro Atlanta area. In addition, the popular Jennifer Perry Combo returns to the coffeehouse with jazz and swing.

The coffeehouse, which successfully initiated its 2000-2001 season Sept. 23, is now situated at the LaFayette Educational Center, 205 LaFayette Avenue, just northwest of the Courthouse Square.

Doors open at 7:45 p.m., and the show begins at 8:15.

General admission is $7 ($5 for senior citizens and children under 12).
